Infinite Here for orchestra was composed in the fall of 2003 for the Yale Philharmonia.  Before writing this piece, I had spent quite a bit of time writing for the vibraphone.  I was obsessed with clusters and they manner in which they resonate on the metallic bars of the vibes and was challenged to translate that idea to the orchestra.  I found myself experimenting with different colors of sustain within the ensemble and sonorities that could emerge from blocks of sound.
 
The premiere took place at Woolsey Hall with the Yale Philharmonia and Eric Dudley conducting.
