Life is So Strange
 
The title for this piece comes from a song by Lenine, a Recife-based musician whose music I was introduced to several years ago.  The entire line of the text is,  «life is so strange, life never stops.»  I was struck by the sensation that although we feel we stand at a static point, time and movement propels us continually forward.
